Jayed Oliver
I live in Cape Town, South Africa where I practice as a radiopharmacist, university lecturer (Stellenbosch University) and PhD candidate (Stellenbosch University). Clinically, I practice at Tygerberg Hospital Academic Hospital where I am responsible for a diverse portfolio, including: radiopharmaceutical tenders, radiopharmacy upgrade projects and the re-alignment of the Stellenbosch MSc Nuclear Medicine (Radiopharmacy) course with both the SAPC and IAEA. My personal interests include music festivals, visiting art museums and travel. My current goal is to find the best Matcha café in South Africa.
My PhD research focuses on the development of peptide-based radiopharmaceuticals with particular interest in KISS1R-targeted molecular imaging agents. This preclinical design and evaluation of chelator-conjugated KISS1-analogues. The analogues will be labelled with 68Ga, Al18F, 177Lu and potentially 161Tb.
