Advancing theranostics from the laboratory to the clinic – where access remains limited
Research Mission
My research aims to re-engineer the peptide radiopharmaceutical, from radionuclide selection and molecular design to biological validation and translation. At its core is the development of targeted peptide radiopharmaceuticals that integrate chemistry, molecular engineering and nuclear physics to achieve precise diagnosis and therapy.
Rather than treating the radionuclide, chelator and targeting vector as independent components, my research investigates how these elements can be rationally engineered as an integrated molecular system. By exploiting emerging radionuclides, advanced peptide design and a deeper understanding of target biology, the goal is to development radiopharmaceuticals with improved tumour targeting, pharmacokinetics and therapeutic effectivness.
